Doodle Re-homing Program
Occasionally (rarely), do we get requests to help with re-homing Goldendoodles or Doubledoodles due to changes in people's circumstances. In 2018 we re-evaluated our re-homing program due to a recent request, and will now focus on placing these dogs with Veterans. There is no re-homing fee but we do screen for appropriate placement for the environment that the dog would be living in. If you're a Vet (demonstrated prior Military Service) would like to be put on our re-homing wait list, please contact us and we'll put you on the list. Please be aware that this happens rarely, so far only 1 out of 40 dogs so far have been re-homed through us. Because we recently moved from Oregon to Hawaii, we are unable to re-home any requests from the mainland to Veterans on the islands due to the quarantine period and shipping expenses.
We are not a Doodle rescue, and dogs that are re-home through us are our own puppies that have gone through our early development program. However, if you are on our Vet re-homing wait list and we get a call from someone wanting to know if we know of any one who is interested in taking a Doodle, we can put you in contact with that person. Re-homing fee, if any, would be between the party looking to re-home and the person making the inquiry in this circumstance.
Regarding the possible donation of puppies. We have donated puppies before and the last puppy we donated to was a Vet who was a brain injured Marine. Puppy donation is rare and depend on multiple circumstances.
